Select pickup through the system and current identifier instead of copying a shop's street address from an old article. Check proxy collection, verification and holding period with the chosen service.
A practical sequence
- Use current checkout destinations and distinguish home from pickup, saving the point's name, identifier and address. A shop still appearing on a map does not prove it handles the same carrier's parcels.
- Before a bulky, fragile or grouped shipment, check final dimensions and pickup limits and home-delivery cost if needed. State stairs, lifts and handling needs in advance rather than at arrival.
- After the official notice, verify tracking, collection deadline, opening and documents. If missing, check the order. For an unexpected small-payment message, verify in the official app rather than paying through its link.
- Check parcel count and exterior at collection and document anomalies under the process. Ask formally about extension or rerouting before missing the deadline; closure or travel does not automatically extend holding.

A note can list: 'Point ___; identifier ___; times I can visit ___; limits checked; deadline awaits notice; recipient phone usable.' Before travelling, compare expected arrival with actual collection availability and distinguish mainland warehouse storage from holding at the Hong Kong pickup point.
