Yue Sheng Shi is one Guangdong government-service channel. Establish the supported identity account, select city and task, and read eligibility and attendance requirements before starting.
What to have ready
Before you start
Yue Sheng Shi has an app and WeChat and Alipay mini-programs. Current iAM Smart guidance supports linking a Guangdong unified identity account to enter the app, while its mini-programs do not support iAM Smart login; some tasks still require a second WeChat verification. Cross-border registration needs a Mainland SMS number and the specified permit. Confirm support for a non-Chinese permit with the platform. The guidance currently excludes linking a Guangdong account registered using a Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residence Permit through that iAM Smart route.
What to do, step by step
- Read iAM Smart's cross-border preparation checklist and check your own document category, Mainland number and account. If a Guangdong account already exists, identify its original document before creating another. Duplicate accounts can separate records and complicate linkage, so use the published account-management instructions for the actual situation.
- Complete registration and one-time linkage using the official tutorial, then search Yue Sheng Shi within iAM Smart to open the app. For a mini-program, use its own official login. An app-login screenshot is not evidence that a different mini-program session has completed the required authentication.
- Choose the accepting city and exact task and check service population, evidence and online scope. Enquiry, appointment, submission and issuance are different functions. An appointment is not an approved application. Bring originals where required and plan any counter visit around the actual service checklist rather than a generic platform menu.
- Keep references, submitted versions and supplementary requests and track the same case. If identity authentication fails, seek the listed personal counter-verification route on Guangdong Government Services or assistance through 12345. Do not borrow a Mainland resident's identity to enter a task that requires your own status.
Costs, timing, and things to check
The published counter-verification checklist for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign users includes personal attendance, other document originals, signed and fingerprinted copies, undertaking and form. Check the window and applicable checklist first. That account-verification bundle is not automatically the document list for every subsequent application.
Whether an electronic credential replaces an original depends on the receiving service. Successful iAM Smart login does not expand statutory eligibility. Older pandemic health-code instructions should not be presented as current universal cross-border service or entry requirements; use the actual task's present guidance.
A practical example
A Hong Kong resident seeking a Zhuhai appointment links the permit-registered Guangdong account and selects the Zhuhai task in the app. A companion using a non-Chinese permit first confirms support and any counter alternative instead of sharing the same account.
Use the correct account and login channel, then meet the actual city service's eligibility.
